Notes from Sa, the creator of the “Relationship With Alcohol Journal”: “I created a journal with the intention to support your own understanding of your relationship with alcohol and how to improve it. I strongly encourage keeping an eye on sensations, feelings, thoughts, and judgments that come up as you do this work as those things serve as intel into what could be deeper rooted. For example, in some of the reflection questions, I might have a strong reaction to the wording or feeling defensive. The question itself is neutral but if my reaction to it is not, then I’d like to know more about what’s happening there. I will include areas for the reflections that you could note and further process later with a support person or therapist.”
