Healing Through Kintsugi: Broken Bowl Therapeutic Workshop

Not everyone heals in the same way or through the same modalities. Some of us use words - ok, A LOT of words! While others struggle with words which makes modalities with music or art easier to access. The beautiful process of Broken Bowl or “Kintsugi” is a individualized process of healing through art by way of brokenness and repair. Going into too much detail will remove the beauty of the process, however, it’s also different for everyone that accepts the invitation of healing through art. This is a not a modality only meant for artists, in fact, anyone can utilize this pathway. Young. Old. Male. Female. Broken. Whole. The wonder of the participation is created through an unexpected or unanticipated outcome!

Broken Bowl Process with Jenn

Broken Bowl is a process through which clients re-experience a breaking or shattering and get the opportunity to repair and rebuild something unique and beautiful.
— Jenn Radcliffe
There is a lot of intention and honor behind the whole process. Clients in a group/workshop hold space for each other and bear witness to each persons process. In an individual intensive the therapist holds space for the client as this can be deeply personal work.
