Welcome

Hi, I’m Amber and I founded The Healing Collective.

I’m so excited you want to join our team at The Healing Collective and I hope you “click” below. I wanted to share a little bit about my company and maybe answer some of your questions. BUT…if you are ready to apply, by all means, please click the button below! We are ready to talk to you.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

TEAM CULTURE

The HC is committed to walking out our "team process" model. We have a true treatment team that meets for consultation and connection multiple times per week as we walk out our treatment model. At The HC clinicians don't do it alone.

COMPENSATION

Because our business model is focused on employees, you have the ability to excel not only clinically but financially. All employees are on an hourly rate, and because we don’t accept insurance, there’s no waiting months for payment on services. There are many opportunities and coaching available to ensure you are hitting your financial goals. Direct care is paid at a starting range of $50-$70.

GROW CLINICALLY

The HC is a private pay only group practice, we do not accept insurance which allows Amber to stay committed to an employee model. All clinicians at The HC receive numerous opportunities throughout the year to obtain CEUs and additional training.

How we work

  • All therapists at The HC work within our 4 stage framework. We look for therapists who can bring their essence and add another dimension to the team, while also being able to adhere to our fidelity measure and benchmarks to ensure the highest quality of care possible.

  • Our therapists prioritize their own recovery to inform their clinical care. We never ask clients to do anything we have not done ourselves as part of our values system. Because our model is a recovery model, our team members all work their own 12-step programs to support their recovery. We recognize that we teach what we need to learn most. Additionally, much of our treatment model is based in the Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families 12-step program and informs our clinical lens.

  • We are not a private practice. We use a true collaborative approach to our treatment and work in connection. Being able to have healthy relationships with one another on the team is essential, and it allows for our clients to fully benefit from having multiple clinicians working on their case.

  • We are flexible in the unknown. Our team members are able to own when they don’t know something, they ask for what they need, and they practice vulnerability and transparency in supporting one another.

  • We embrace complementary and alternative healing methods to supplement clinical treatment plans. Many of our healers are trained in these modalities, including art therapy, music therapy, sound healing, reiki, and yoga. Our team supports the mind, body, and soul of clients in many different ways.

Qualifications

  • Minimum educational qualification is a Master of Social Work from an accredited institution.

  • Dual licensure in North Carolina and South Carolina preferred.

  • If not fully licensed, must be at a minimum licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker in South Carolina or Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina and able to apply for licensure in the other state.

  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist credential is preferred in addition to above listed licensure.

  • Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.

  • Other licensures will be considered with commensurate agency and addiction experience and training. Professionals from other clinical backgrounds who are working under associate licenses must have a supervisor that also possesses the ICAADA Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) credential.

  • Candidates must maintain all relevant licensures and certifications.

Hours

  • Hours are flexible dependent upon caseload needs and intake flow. All new clinicians are required to have availability at least two afternoons and evenings per week.

  • Required team meeting is Monday 12-2 and required peer supervision is Thursday 12-12:45.

  • Additional required trainings and continuing education will be communicated with advanced notice.

Liability Insurance

  • Candidates must carry their own liability policy in addition to coverage from the company.

Compensation

  • Pay structure is made up of direct clinical time and administrative time.

  • All payroll rates are per hour. Clinical hours are made up of services of varying length, so all clinical work is paid per clinical hour instead of per clinical service.

  • Direct clinical care starts at a range of $50-$70 per hour for clinical hours. 20 clinical hours per week are required.

  • Administrative time starts at a range of $15-$20 per hour per approved administrative task. Weekly team meeting and peer supervision are examples of administrative tasks.

Team Culture

  • Our team is very proud to represent the community of recovery. Our definition of recovery is working to become your truest and highest self.

  • Our team values are transparency, integrity, accountability, vulnerability, collaboration, and action oriented. Our team runs off of a “team process” model and views our process as parallel to the clinical process.

  • Participation in team building and team culture activities are required for all clinicians. Opportunities are offered multiple times per week for walkout of company values through personal recovery enrichment.

  • Clinicians are expected to attend networking and marketing activities to support caseload building and relationships with community partners.

  • We are an employee model and not a contractor model.

  • Clinicians must participate in regular observations of clinical work (observing others or being observed).

  • Clinicians must walk out the clinical model used at The HC with all clients. Our clinical model is a highly detailed model designed to support the entire system through channels of individual, couples, family, group, and community work.
