About Me

I have personally seen how perfectionism and the constant push for something unattainable can manifest into high anxiety and low perception of self. It has been in my own healing that I have found the most effective ways to reach and help others through this journey of attainable progress. I also know as a former people pleaser how freeing it is to find your own path and reclaim the narrative of life on your terms.

I support adult individuals and couples as well as families in their journey to finding peace and balance. Some of my specialties include anxiety, codependency, perfectionism, trauma, self-worth, and difficulties related to family of origin. I have a passion for supporting adults with reclaiming their narrative. The pathology of anxiety, perfectionism, and codependency keep us stuck in dysfunction and missing the emotional safety we sorely crave in our relationships. I am here to help clients identify what has been holding them back from living the life they want and find achievable ways to create just that. I believe in providing compassion, empathy, and a new perspective to empower people on their journey towards self-acceptance. I am an advocate for looking within yourself and addressing the stuck, scary parts in a safe place with the support you deserve. It is through true self-exploration that we can process and move through the past and into a position of meaningful growth. From here we can, together, find the life you will love and be excited to live.

I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am licensed as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina, South Carolina and Mississippi. Over the last 8 years in the field I have worked in a variety of settings, from community mental health to private group practice, and have experience with adults and families with a variety of needs. I utilize approaches including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Structural Family Therapy, and my experiential and Gottman training supports couples in building emotional safety.

— What Element Do You Resonate With? —

Water

“I’m most drawn to water. To me it holds the spirit of cleansing and change which can appear gentle or rough, much like waves. It’s also a reminder that there is a tide to everything in life. I also just feel so free floating in water, it is one of my greatest joys and pastimes.”
